Salvation

The Gospel, or "Good News", is that you can have peace

The Gospel, or "Good News", is that you can have peace by accepting the Son of God, Jesus Christ, as your personal Savior. You can have eternal life!

It is a gift of God: the fact that Jesus is the Son of God, born in the flesh, lived among us, lead a sinless life, taught us how to please God, died for our sins on the cross and on the third day, rose again, triumphing over death!

This is truly a gift. If you don't accept it, then it is not truly yours. All you need to do is to acknowledge that Jesus is the Son of God, that He died for your sins to bridge the divide between man and God and to pay the price for our sins, and that he rose again on the third day and now resides at the right hand of God the Father.

Do you want to see it in the Bible itself?

Romans 3:10 As it is written: There is none righteous, no, not one.

Romans 3:23 For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

Romans 5:12 Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned.

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Romans 10:13 For whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.

Romans 10:9-10 That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

All you need to do is pray the following, knowing in your heart that Jesus is the Son of God, that He came to earth, lived among us, died as a perfect sacrifice for your sins, and that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be SAVED:

"God, I believe that Jesus is Your Son, that He came to earth, lived among us, died as a perfect sacrifice for my sins, and that You raised Him from the dead. Please, forgive me for my sins and make Jesus my Savior. I ask this in Jesus' name, Amen."

All verses taken from the New King James Version of the Bible.
